Project Manager
Job Summary
Manage and oversee renovation and fit-out projects from start to handover, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely, safe, and budget-compliant completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead renovation and fit-out projects from commencement through to handover, ensuring all phases meet quality and timeline targets
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project objectives and resolve issues
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to monitor progress and ensure timely completion
- Attend site meetings to identify and resolve technical and operational challenges promptly
- Verify that all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards
- Monitor project costs and implement budget controls to prevent overruns
- Manage site manpower and subcontractor performance to maintain productivity and quality standards
- Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation for stakeholder review
- Ensure strict compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations throughout project execution
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Building, Construction Management, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in interior renovation or construction projects
- Knowledge of renovation processes, materials, and construction methods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
