Job Description & Requirements

  • Able to take off quantities efficiently
  • Able to liaise and negotiate with suppliers & contractors related toprojects
  • Prepare quotations, cost estimates and bills of quantities
  • To keep track of Variation Orders
  • Certification of progress claims from sub-contractors
  • Keep track of final account and variation orders
  • Prepare contract administration for client, consultants, sub- contractor
  • Able to assist estimation, cost planning and forecast budgeting.
  • Preparation of Monthly Progress Claim to Client and Sub-Contractors
  • Preparation for Payment Response to sub- contractor and suppliers and keeping trace ofresponse.
  • Preparation of technical details and costing for tender submission.
  • Sourcing of materials and obtaining quotations for evaluation.
  • Carry out other Contracts administration activities.
  • Other quantity surveying related duties as assigned

Requirement

• Diploma, or Degree in QS/ Building orequivalent

• Minimum 5 years (QS) / 10+ years (Senior QS) of relevant experience in the interior fit-out/joinery industry

• Able to work independently with min supervision

• A good team player with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Positive work attitude, seek continuous improvement
