We are seeking a skilled and passionate Restaurant Cook specializing in Karnataka/Bangalore Cuisine to prepare authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in traditional Karnataka cooking techniques, regional recipes, and commercial kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic Karnataka and Bangalore-style dishes, including breakfast items, snacks, curries, rice dishes, and regional specialties.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes according to restaurant standards.
- Prepare mise en place and manage daily food preparation requirements.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and stock levels.
- Follow recipes, cooking methods, and plating guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and minimizing food wastage.
