RESTAURANT MANAGER
Job Description:
Operations Management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Ensure smooth front-of-house and back-of-house coordination.
- Monitor restaurant cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed.
- Maintain restaurant facilities, equipment, and inventory.
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Monitor service standards and continuously improve the guest experience.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff.
- Prepare work schedules and manage staff attendance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching where necessary.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure staff adhere to company policies and service standards.
Food & Beverage Quality Control
- Ensure all Thai dishes and beverages are prepared and served according to restaurant standards.
- Work closely with the Head Chef to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Monitor food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Ensure proper stock rotation and inventory management.
Financial Management
- Monitor daily sales and restaurant performance.
- Control labor, food, and operational costs.
- Prepare reports on sales, expenses, and profitability.
- Manage cash handling procedures and POS system operations.
- Assist in budget planning and cost control initiatives.
Inventory & Procurement
- Monitor stock levels and place orders with suppliers.
- Ensure timely procurement of ingredients, beverages, and restaurant supplies.
- Minimize wastage and control inventory costs.
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
Marketing & Business Development
- Support promotional campaigns and marketing activities.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and customer traffic.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Assist in organizing special events and seasonal promotions.
Job Requirements:
- Min Degree in hospitality management, business administration or related fields.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays and night shift
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and inventory management.
- Experience with POS systems and restaurant management software.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
