Sales Admin

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in qualifying leads and gathering basic technical requirements for electrical and mechanical projects

- Conduct initial customer engagement to understand needs and project scope

- Prepare quotations, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and basic technical proposals using standard templates

- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to verify specifications, pricing, and project timelines

- Maintain accurate records of customers, leads, and sales activities in the CRM system

- Organize and manage technical and commercial documentation (drawings, datasheets, proposals, contracts)

- Support tender submissions and ensure compliance with documentation requirements

- Liaise with Accounts to provide necessary documents (POs, DOs, approvals) for invoicing and payment tracking

- Assist in order processing and ensure smooth handover from sales to project execution

Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

- 1–3 years of experience in sales support or technical administration (engineering environment preferred)

- Basic understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems, components, and terminology

- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and specifications is an advantage

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems

- Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Preferred Skills

- Experience in preparing technical quotations and BOMs

- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools (basic level)

- Knowledge of industry standards, tender processes, or project-based sales
