Senior Accounting Expert RtR

Job Summary

Our Finance HUB is looking for a Senior Accounting Expert RtR colleague to join our team in Budaörs, Hungary.

In this position you will provide accurate information for financial reporting and have specialized knowledge of all processes and procedures within scope. You will work autonomously within established procedures and practices and may act as a lead, providing subject matter guidance to team members.

This role is located in Budaörs, Hungary and it is temporary until July 2028.

What you will do

• Perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards
• Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements, prepare complex adhoc information.
• Reconcile more complex accounts, post journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules.
• Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to stakeholders
• Drive process improvements and functional KPIs, OpMetricses
• Coach less experienced accounting staff
• Take on a Business Expert Role
• Independently take discussions about standard and escalated issues with external/internal stakeholders
• May supervise accounting experts within RtR team

We believe you have

• University/College degree in Accounting or Economics
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in the Accounting area
• SAP - FI knowledge
• Strong analytical capabilities, including in tools such as VBA, Power BI, Power Automate, and/or KNIME.
• S4 HANA experience is advantage
• GL accounting experience is a must
• Excel Pivot knowledge is a must
• Chartered Accountant is an advantage
• Fluency in English and Hungarian language skills both written and spoken are required
