Senior Network Reliability Engineer

You will design and operate the production network and infrastructure. You will design and maintain scalable and resilient cloud and data center networking solutions using automation and infrastructure management practices. You will implement and refine monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively detect and mitigate issues, ensuring high availability and performance. You will design and maintain secure remote access solutions to protect data. You will develop and enhance automation tools and services to streamline network deployments and configuration management. You will design and support essential production network services to ensure a seamless user experience. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support connectivity and peering requirements. You will advocate for continuous improvement in operational controls and participate in a regular on-call rotation. Telecommuting permitted.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable and resilient cloud and data center networking solutions using automation and infrastructure management practices.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus one year of experience in job offered or related occupation.
• Designing and operating production network infrastructure in data center and cloud environments, including routing and connectivity technologies.
• Working with dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF in on-premises or hybrid network environments.
• Developing network automation solutions using programming languages such as Python or Golang.
• Building or supporting backend services and APIs used for infrastructure or network automation platforms.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in large-scale production networked or distributed systems.
• Supporting scalable and resilient network services in cloud-based, on-prem or hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Configuring and maintaining network devices, including routers, switches and firewalls, using standard networking commands or APIs.
