Summary of the Role
A TIS Senior Sales Specialist promotes advanced medical products, builds relationships with key healthcare decision-makers, and leads high-value sales. They develop strategies and handle complex negotiations to meet sales targets. The role involves market analysis, extensive travel, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Scope of Business: Terumo Interventional Systems (TIS)
Scope of Territory: North Vietnam
Key Functions / Responsibilities
1. Product Promotion and Sales
Promote and sell medical products (such as devices, equipment, or pharmaceuticals) to healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and hospital administrators.
Provide in-depth knowledge of product features, benefits, and usage to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
2. Relationship Building
Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings.
Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities to meet clients, deliver presentations, and provide product demonstrations.
3. Customer Support and Training
Offer ongoing customer support and product training to ensure the proper use and handling of products.
Assist clients with questions, product issues, or complaints and provide quick resolutions to maintain satisfaction.
4. Market Research and Analysis
Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and stay informed about competitor activities and industry trends.
Gather and analyze sales data to measure effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
5. Sales Strategy and Target Achievement
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
Negotiate and close sales deals with customers.
6. Reporting
Prepare and submit detailed reports on sales activities, client interactions, market feedback, and sales performance.
Maintain records of sales leads, customer accounts, and follow-up actions.
7. Collaboration
Work closely with marketing and other internal teams to develop promotional materials and support marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth product delivery and service to clients.
8. Any other responsibilities are assigned by the Manager or Management
Functional / Technical Skills
Native Vietnamese speaker with fluency in English and good communication skills in writing and speaking.
Strong understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management, and market dynamics.
Ability to analyze data, forecast sales, and make strategic decisions based on market trends.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Possess excellent communication, negotiation, sales, and presentation skills.
Able to work independently with self-discipline and a good team player as well.
Team player with “can-do “attitude, ability to perform well under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (Medical/ Pharmacy/ Nursing/ Biomedical). Having an MBA is an advantage.
3-5 years working in the medical devices sales (Interventional Cardiology a plus).]
Proven experience in medical sales or a related field is preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets.
