As a Service Engineer, you will be part of our Customer Service Operations team, working directly at customer sites to keep essential food processing and packaging lines running reliably. Your work contributes to ensuring uninterrupted food production — a vital link in global food systems that support hundreds of millions of consumers every day. You will operate as an individual contributor, partnering closely with customer teams and internal experts to secure equipment performance, minimize downtime, and strengthen long‑term customer trust.This role stands out for the impact you will create in the field: hands-on problem solving, advanced technical exposure, and the opportunity to represent a company recognized for quality, innovation, and sustainability leadership in the food industry. You will diagnose complex technical issues, ensure optimal equipment performance, and empower operators through training — all while supporting our broader mission to protect what’s good.

You will be based in south of Chile (Osorno, Valdivia, Temuco)
You may be required to travel to customer sites up to 85% of your time.
Tetra Pak does not offer support for visa or relocation for this position.

What you will do

As a Service Engineer you will:

  • Travel to customer sites to:
    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations;
    • Analyze technical issues and escalate when needed using standard operating processes;
    • Train customer operators and support production efficiency;
  • Monitor service contracts and contribute to business development;
  • Ensure compliance with safety, food quality, and reporting standards;
  • Represent Tetra Pak professionally and contribute ideas for improving customer operations and service delivery;
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment;
  • Follow all safety protocols in accordance to OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team.

We believe you have

  • Up to 3 years of experience in maintenance, service, or installation roles;
  • Education in industrial systems, automation, or process engineering;
  • Strong mechanical /electrical/automation knowledge;
  • Ability to travel up to 85% of the time;
  • Intermediate level of English (written and verbal);
  • A proactive, customer-first mindset.
