Social Worker (Clinical)

About the Position: Vacancies are located at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Cavazos, Texas. Recruitment or relocation incentives may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. This is an open continuous announcement. Perform bio-psychosocial assessments on behavioral health patients to determine a diagnosis.

Perform routine case management functions including telephonic monitoring of symptom severity and/or adherence to behavioral health treatment plans.

Provide targeted assessment and evaluation, including diagnostic impressions and/or functional status focused on the presenting problem.

Formulate behavioral health interventions.

Provide consultation services for a subset of patients who require ongoing monitoring and follow-up.

Provide counseling services using various evidence-based modalities as clinically indicated.
