Software Engineer - Frontend and Mobile

You will design and build advanced iOS and Android applications using React Native. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and refine features, write clean maintainable and efficient code, ensure application performance and responsiveness, identify and fix bugs and bottlenecks, participate in code reviews, and mentor peers.

• Design and build advanced iOS and Android applications using React Native
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features
• Write clean maintainable and efficient code
• Ensure application performance quality and responsiveness
• Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs
• Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
• Provide mentorship to peers through code reviews and education on best practices
• Work with product managers designers and other engineers to understand and refine product requirements

Requirements

• At least 3 years of proven experience in mobile or web application development
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and related technologies ES6 and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of the full mobile or web development life cycle
• Knowledge of UI and UX standards and mobile design principles
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or Postgres
• Confident with RESTful API design
• Experience with unit and functional testing and debugging
• Experience with Git GitHub branching methodologies code review tools and CI tools
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science applied mathematics or another technical discipline
• Understanding of and strong interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain
• Strong algorithm design problem solving and complexity analysis skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with native mobile development iOS or Android or React Native (preferred)
• Understanding of financial industry workflows and familiarity with digital wallets clearing settlement lending trading or accounting systems (preferred)
