Staff Software Engineer, Frontend (Consumer - Advanced Trading)

You will lead the front-end technical strategy for an advanced trading platform. You will define and execute technical roadmaps, drive performance improvements across web and mobile clients, deliver low latency trading interfaces, anchor complex projects, and mentor engineers to uphold high standards for code quality and system design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to define and execute a technical roadmap for a reliable, scalable trading platform
• Lead the technical initiative to deliver a low latency interface for experienced traders across all platforms
• Provide technical guidance and career mentorship to engineers and anchor complex projects ensuring high standards for code quality and system design

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks and mobile environments
• Proven track record of optimizing rendering performance, network efficiency, and state management
• Demonstrated leadership ability including mentoring senior engineers and driving organizational improvements
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex technical challenges into actionable plans
• Experience building low latency trading systems
• Experience with blockchains such as Bitcoin and Ethereum
• Experience decomposing large monoliths into microservices
• Experience with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Sinatra, Rails, and Postgres
• Familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, ENS, and dApps
