SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first-level supervisor and the Project Management Element Chief, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over employees assigned to 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron, Programs Flight, Project Management Element. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of ISOCES/CEPM, ensuring that the Project Management Element complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Represents 1SOCES/CEPM with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Plans and designs substantial new construction, renovation, and improvement projects on real property facilities. Works with organizational managers, budgeting personnel, and higher engineering authority including Command in developing and gaining approval for proposed facility programs/projects.
