Vice President Senior Backend Developer Brokerage Crypto

You will design, develop, and optimize robust, scalable backend systems that power web and mobile applications. You will build and maintain APIs and databases, ensure system reliability and security, and handle high transaction volumes. You will collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams, perform code reviews, write automated tests, and improve deployment pipelines. You will adopt best practices for code quality, observability, and performance, and stay current with backend, blockchain, and fintech technologies to recommend improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain high-performance backend systems, APIs, and databases
• Architect scalable, secure server-side solutions that handle high transaction volumes
• Collaborate with front-end, product, and DevOps teams to integrate and deliver features
• Implement code quality, testing, and deployment best practices including code reviews and automated tests
• Foster technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Stay current with backend, blockchain, and fintech technologies and recommend improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of back-end development experience with at least 2 years in a senior role
• Hands-on development experience with Node, Express, and TypeScript
• Experience with Nest.js or similar frameworks to build REST APIs and services
• Strong experience with SQL and exposure to NoSQL databases
• Experience with microservice and event-based (event-driven) architectures
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with caching and messaging systems such as Kafka
• Experience using Postman and version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket
