WSH Coordinator
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for coordinating health & safety systems in the organisation;
- Conduct periodic inspections to ensure that the implemented risk control measures are being observed and practised;
- Investigate and report WSH incidents & coordinate implementation of emergency preparedness and response plans;
- Required to work on-site in his course of work;
- WSH Coordinator is practical and meticulous, required to observe safety hazards and deal in a prompt and decisive manner;
- Deploy workplace safety and health (WSH) programmes;
- Manage WSH performance;
- Manage business continuity;
- Develop workplace safety and health management systems
- Assist the management in environmental, health & safety promotion to promote awareness among workers;
- Under the WSH Act, employees have a duty to keep their workplace and colleagues safe:
- Cooperate with employers and follow safety and health procedure;
- Report unsafe acts and incidents;
- Do not tamper with safety devices or perform wilful or reckless acts; and
12. Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time as your superior or management deem fit.
REQUIREMENT
- Possess Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience preferably in Construction field
- Strong knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act
- Proficiency in Microsoft (Words, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Preferably with driving / motorbike riding licence and possess own vehicle
- Able to commit to rotating shift work, 12 hours Work 4 Days Rest 3 Days.
