WSH Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance & Enforcement: Implement, monitor, and rigorously enforce safety protocols on-site in strict accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and environmental regulations.
- Site Inspections & Corrective Actions: Conduct comprehensive daily safety checks and regular site inspections. Promptly identify potential hazards, address safety issues, and enforce decisive corrective actions.
- Audit & Incident Support: Follow up on site walk inspection findings raised by the Safety Committee. Actively support the WSH Officer in closing out safety reports and assisting with thorough incident and accident investigations.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous safety reports, inspection logs, and all required statutory documentation to ensure total audit readiness.
- Safety Culture & Training: Deliver engaging safety awareness training, toolbox talks, and targeted programs to educate, motivate, and align the workforce with safe site practices.
- Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform any other project-related safety duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Possess an Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or an equivalent recognized safety qualification.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in tunnelling operations, specifically within LTA (Land Transport Authority) projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep, up-to-date understanding of the WSH Act, LTA safety frameworks, and local environmental regulations.
- Project Location: Full-time placement at the designated project site office.
- Work Schedule: 6-day work week, with the flexibility to support shift work during critical project phases.
