Business Development Manager
What You Can Expect:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key market verticals and industry segments with strong growth potential.
- Actively secure new customers and achieve agreed annual sales targets.
- Develop and expand international trade lanes by collaborating closely with Rhenus offices worldwide and trusted overseas partners.
- Manage the full sales cycle including client visits, pipeline management, tenders, and sales reporting via CRM tools.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that clearly demonstrate value-added logistics solutions.
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships to drive retention, account growth, and client satisfaction.
What You Bring:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven track record in sales and business development within the Malaysian market, ideally in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a strong understanding of international supply chain solutions.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills in both English and local language(s).
- Confident in managing sales pipelines, reporting, and customer data through CRM platforms.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, while also being a strong team player.
- Resourceful, results-oriented, and customer-focused with a proactive mindset.
