Ecommerce Specialist
Location: Singapore + Indonesia
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Ecommerce Specialist to manage and grow our ecommerce business across Singapore and Indonesia. This role is responsible for overseeing marketplace operations, campaign execution, online merchandising, performance analysis, and coordination with our Indonesia-based ecommerce team.
The ideal candidate understands both the strategic and operational aspects of ecommerce and is comfortable working across multiple platforms, teams, and markets.
Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce Operations Management
- Manage day-to-day ecommerce operations across Singapore and Indonesia.
- Ensure product listings are accurate, optimized, and updated.
- Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with operations and warehouse teams.
- Maintain pricing consistency across all online channels.
- Ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer experience.
Marketplace Management
Manage and optimize:
- Shopee
- Lazada
- TikTok Shop
- Tokopedia
- GrabMart
- GoMart
- Shopify
- Other emerging ecommerce platforms
Responsibilities include:
- Product uploads
- Content management
- Campaign participation
- Voucher setup
- Bundle creation
- Flash sales
- Platform advertising coordination
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Execute monthly ecommerce promotional calendars.
- Coordinate major campaigns such as: 1.1 to 12.12 campaigns, Payday sales, Ramadan promotions, Christmas promotions, New product launches etc
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure campaign alignment.
- Coordinate asset requirements with designers and content creators.
Performance & Analytics
- Monitor daily sales performance and marketplace KPIs.
- Analyze: Revenue Conversion rates, Traffic, Average Order Value (AOV), Customer acquisition metrics, Advertising performance etc
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Recommend growth initiatives based on data.
Team Coordination
- Supervise and coordinate Indonesia-based ecommerce operations team.
- Ensure operational SOPs are followed.
- Conduct weekly review meetings with ecommerce staff.
- Provide guidance and training where necessary.
- Escalate operational issues and propose solutions.
Product & Merchandising
- Plan product launches and assortment strategies.
- Optimize product categorization and search visibility.
- Improve product content, descriptions, images, and SEO.
- Identify opportunities for bundles, upselling, and cross-selling.
Customer Experience
- Monitor customer reviews and ratings.
- Identify recurring customer issues.
- Coordinate improvements with operations and customer service teams.
- Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and repeat purchases.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of ecommerce experience.
- Experience managing marketplaces in Southeast Asia.
- Experience with Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and Shopify.
- Experience coordinating remote teams is preferred.
- FMCG, food & beverage, retail, or consumer goods experience is highly advantageous.
Skills
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with marketplace advertising tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong project management abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field.
- Knowledge of Singapore and Indonesian ecommerce landscapes.
