Lead Procurement Project Spec

As a Guide Procurement Project Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for managing and executing procurement projects, ensuring their successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline while driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment within the procurement function. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by guiding cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and implementing best practices to optimize procurement processes and achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
  • Lead crossfunctional teams to ensure successful project execution, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project goals are met
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with business needs
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and offerings
  • Manage supplier relationships, including conducting supplier performance evaluations and driving continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures throughout the procurement process
  • Monitor and control project costs, seek costsaving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation
  • Leverage technology solutions, such as procurement software and analytics, to enhance procurement processes, monitoring, and reporting

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, project management, or a related role.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
