News+ Growth Features Lead

In this role, you'll serve as the business lead across a portfolio of user-facing features, working closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and partner teams. You'll bring clarity to complex trade-offs, develop well-framed opportunities for prioritization, and ensure every team working on News+ understands how their work contributes to the business. Minimum Qualifications 8–10 years of experience in growth strategy, business operations, or adjacent roles at a consumer technology or media company Strong familiarity with subscription business models, including growth levers, engagement metrics, and content-driven retention Experience developing business cases, financial models, and performance narratives for executive audiences Proven track record of translating qualitative and quantitative signals into clear, actionable recommendations Preferred Qualifications Strong product sense with the ability to identify and gain support for new feature opportunities Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority across Product, Engineering, Finance, and partner teams Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; highly organized, action-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity Experience in subscription media, publishing, or consumer services preferred Comfort working across time zones and collaborating with geographically distributed teams Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and adapt quickly to shifting priorities MBA preferred
