Thillai Supermarket Pte Ltd is a Singapore-registered Company. Its specialty is to focus on organic groceries, natural and traditional Indian food products. Ayurvedic items, cold-pressed oils, millets and millet-based products, desi cow dairy, and organic fresh produce. We operate across multiple retail and e-commerce channels in Singapore, serving a health-conscious and culturally discerning customer base. We are expanding our operations and seeking a passionate, hands-on Retail & E-Commerce Manager to drive our next phase of growth.

Job Responsibilities

1. Operations

• Oversee day-to-day retail and warehouse operations including inventory management, stock replenishment and product display.

• Manage product listings across all sales channels — physical store, company websites and third-party e-commerce platforms.

• Ensure all products are correctly labelled, priced and displayed with accurate expiry date management.

• Maintain 100% stock accuracy— reconcile physical stock with online inventory at all times.

• Identify slow-moving and near-expiry products and coordinate promotional clearance strategies.

2. E-Commerce& Digital Sales

• Manage and grow sales across company e-commerce websites and third-party platforms including Grab, Redmart, Food panda and similar platforms

• Update all product listings daily with accurate descriptions, photos, pricing and stock availability

• Process online orders end-to-end — from order confirmation to packing instruction and delivery coordination

• Use built-in e-commerce platform tools to run promotions, discount campaigns and bundle offers

• Monitor platform performance metrics — sales volume, conversion rates, customer reviews — and optimise accordingly

• Explore and onboard new e-commerce and delivery platforms to expand sales reach

3. Social Media & Marketing

• Plan and execute weekly social media content calendar across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp Business

• Create promotional content and posters using digital and AI tools to drive product awareness and sales

• Manage Facebook Ads campaigns— set up, monitor and optimize for customer acquisition and product promotion

• Build and grow customer broadcast lists for direct marketing via WhatsApp

• Analyze customer buying patterns and develop personalized marketing communication strategies

• Generate and respond to all customer enquiries across digital channels promptly and professionally

4. B2B &Wholesale Business Development

• Identify and develop relationships with retail stores, Indian grocery shops, restaurants and food businesses across Singapore to stock our products

• Present product range to potential wholesale buyers and negotiate supply agreements

• Manage B2B order fulfilment and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business

• Represent the company at trade events, community events and farmer markets where relevant

5. Product Knowledge & Customer Engagement

• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of all product categories: organic groceries, cold-pressed oils, Ayurvedic products, Panchagavya products, millets and millet-based products, organic vegetables, desi cow dairy products, organic sweets and snacks

• Educate customers on product benefits, usage, shelf life management and health value

• Manage perishable products proactively — communicate availability, freshness and expiry to customers before purchase

• Gather customer feedback continuously and translate insights into product and service improvements

• Promote natural farming awareness, indigenous seeds and conscious eating to build a loyal community around the brand

Requirements

Education

• JC or above in Business Administration, Retail Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field experience

• Candidates who completed their education in Singapore will be given strong preference

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in retail operations, preferably in specialty food, organic products, Indian grocery or natural products segment

• Demonstrated experience managing e-commerce platforms and social media channels for commercial purposes

• Experience in B2B wholesale sales or retail business development is preferred

• Prior exposure to Indian organic products, natural farming produce, Ayurvedic or traditional food products is a strong advantage

• Experience working in high-volume retail environments with proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
