Senior Product Specialist (Cardiac & Vascular - C&V)

Summary of the Role

Execute high‑impact commercial and educational activities for Terumo’s priority C&V portfolios—Interventional Systems (Cardiology, Radiology, Peripheral), Cardiovascular, and Aortic solutions.

The role drives market activation, new product introductions, customer engagement and data‑driven insights to support Sales in achieving share and revenue growth, while maintaining strict adherence to Terumo’s compliance and claims‑governance standards.

Key Functions / Responsibilities

1. Market Execution & Commercial Support

  • Implement C&V product strategies, campaigns, launches, and in‑hospital marketing initiatives.

  • Equip Sales with clear product positioning, clinical benefits, and competitive intelligence to accelerate case adoption.

  • Plan and execute workshops, roadshows, scientific programs, and congress participation to enhance product visibility and demand.

2. Customer Engagement

  • Support the design and delivery of Sales/Training & Education programs across hospitals and clinical departments.

  • Facilitate proctorship, masterclasses, case discussions, and workflow optimization in partnership with clinical experts.

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with KOLs, high‑volume users, and key clinical departments.

3. Product Support

  • Deliver product and application training to HCPs and internal field teams.

  • Support product demos, evaluations, trials, and tender‑related technical document preparation.

  • Gather and communicate clinical insights to refine product adoption strategies and improve post‑market performance.

4. Promotional Materials & Branding

  • Coordinate development, localization, and updating of promotional materials in line with Terumo C&V branding.

  • Ensure all materials pass RA/Legal review, maintain proper version control, and remove obsolete items.

  • Ensure all claims are evidence‑based, compliant with global/regional guidelines, and aligned with approved product messaging.

  • Maintain consistent brand identity across presentations, brochures, digital assets, and event materials.

5. Data‑Driven Insights

  • Collect and analyze market, competitors, and customer data to provide actionable insights for planning.

  • Support demand forecasting, commercial reviews, and business planning processes with accurate, timely inputs.

  • Maintain structured reporting of activities, program outcomes, customer engagements, and execution performance.

6. Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all HCP interactions strictly follow Terumo compliance processes and Vietnamese regulations.

  • Adhere to approval workflows for events, sponsorships, education programs, and promotional materials.

  • Demonstrate high ethical standards and uphold Terumo’s Code of Conduct in all engagements.

7. Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with relevant departments to ensure aligned execution.

  • Coordinate with distributor partners to support consistent execution, capability building, and feedback loops.

Success Measures

  • Growth in priority C&V portfolios (IMS, share, adoption metrics).

  • High‑quality execution of educational and promotional programs.

  • Strong KOL engagement and enhanced clinical advocacy.

  • Zero compliance deviations.

  • Consistent, accurate use of approved branding and promotional materials.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical/Life Sciences, Nursing, or related fields.

  • 4–5 years of experience in medical devices/pharma; preference for cardiovascular, interventional cardiology/radiology/peripheral or aortic fields.

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing‑related positions.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and HCP‑engagement skills.

  • Experience in hospital education programs, product training, or clinical support is an advantage.

  • Proactive, collaborative, customer‑oriented, and detail‑focused with strong integrity.

  • Working proficiency in English.
