SENIOR / QUANTITY SURVEYOR
- Location: Woodland
- Working Hours: 5 days per week (Mon to Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Willingness to commit to extended hours if required
Job Description
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are accurately estimated and tracked
- Assist in preparing and issuing tender documents for contractors and suppliers
- Evaluate tender submissions and manage procurement for MEP and Civil works
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage contracts related to MEP and Civil/Structural works
- Handle variations, claims, and change orders
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
- Identify and manage cost risks and schedule delays
- Regularly inspect the site to ensure work is progressing as planned
- Act as a key point of contact between clients, contractors, and project teams
- Ensure smooth communication regarding project costs and schedules
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within the semiconductor or industrial manufacturing sectors
- Meticulous, analytical, eye for details and a good team player
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently
- Sound computer literacy, including advanced skills in Excel
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Good communication, reading, and writing skills in both English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese associate
