Assistant Project Manager / Senior Engineer - Hospital
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the main contractor’s project team to support the delivery of design‑build or traditional building projects.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising site activities to ensure works are carried out safely, to quality standards, and in line with programme.
- Coordinate with other trades to resolve on‑site technical and buildability issues.
- Monitor construction progress and assist in preparing progress reports, method statements, and inspection records.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and the main contractor’s team to ensure smooth execution of works.
- Assist in project budgeting, variation management, and subcontractor coordination as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in main contractor / building trade projects.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- BIM experience and knowledge is preferred.
- Prior experience in public sector building projects, especially hospitals and healthcare facilities, is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills on site.
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Engineer.
