Senior Structural Manager/ Structural Manager/ Deputy Structural Manager - Hospital

Responsibilities:

- Lead structural design management for design‑build or traditional projects, either working alongside the in‑house design team or deployed directly to the main contractor’s project team.

- Oversee structural design development, analysis, and documentation for buildings and infrastructure.

- Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and construction teams to integrate structural elements smoothly.

- Ensure designs meet safety codes, seismic/wind requirements, and durability standards in the chosen market.

- Instruct or oversee the internal structural design team as required.

Requirements:

- In‑depth knowledge of either Singapore or Hong Kong structural codes and construction practices. Experience in both markets is a plus but not required.

- Bachelor or Master in Structural or Civil Engineering; professional qualification preferred, such as:

Hong Kong: RPE (Structural), MHKIE

UK: CEng MIStructE

Singapore: P.E. (Civil/Structural)

- 15+ years of relevant structural design or design management experience (consultant, design institute, or contractor background accepted).

- Expert‑level knowledge of structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro).

- Strong understanding of concrete and steel structure design principles.

- BIM experience and knowledge is preferred.

- Prior experience in public sector building projects, especially hospitals and healthcare facilities, will be considered a strong advantage.

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Structural Manager/ Deputy Structural Manager.
