Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Chef de Partie to execute daily kitchen operations and prepare food efficiently
  • Manage your assigned station during service to ensure smooth workflow and timely dish delivery
  • Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation to meet restaurant standards
  • Implement proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to ensure freshness and reduce waste
  • Enforce kitchen hygiene, safety, and cleanliness protocols to maintain a safe work environment
  • Train and guide commis chefs and kitchen assistants to improve their skills and support kitchen efficiency

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Commis or Demi Chef de Partie in a restaurant setting
  • Passion for cooking demonstrated by attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards to ensure compliance
  • Capacity to perform well under pressure during peak service periods
  • Singaporean / PR / LTVP+ status
