DEMI CHEF
Job Summary
Join us as a Demi Chef de Partie to collaborate with chefs in delivering exceptional dishes that showcase our restaurant’s unique identity and culinary creativity.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Chef de Partie to execute daily kitchen operations and prepare food efficiently
- Manage your assigned station during service to ensure smooth workflow and timely dish delivery
- Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation to meet restaurant standards
- Implement proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to ensure freshness and reduce waste
- Enforce kitchen hygiene, safety, and cleanliness protocols to maintain a safe work environment
- Train and guide commis chefs and kitchen assistants to improve their skills and support kitchen efficiency
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Previous experience as a Commis or Demi Chef de Partie in a restaurant setting
- Passion for cooking demonstrated by attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
- Ability to work effectively as a team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards to ensure compliance
- Capacity to perform well under pressure during peak service periods
- Singaporean / PR / LTVP+ status
